Load Security

The biggest business unit, load security film, is supplying innovative films to secure customer’s products while being transported on pallets. Customers often experience high cost when products are damaged during transport. AFP has created a market-leading R&D center that develops innovative films to address our customer’s needs. An example is a film for heavy pallet loadings which ensures pallet stability. Our focus on innovation and fulfilling our customer needs has resulted in strong growth. More and more customers have experienced that working with AFP is adding value.

The ambition of AFP is to become the European Market leader in the top segment of stretch films. In order to achieve this, we are looking for Key Account Manager in France. The customer base in France is currently relatively small and is managed from the Belgium office.

The European Sales team exists of 8 Key Account Managers working across The Benelux, Germany, France and the UK. It is our ambition to build a passionate Sales team which achieve the company’s targets. Our culture can be described as follows: results-driven, passionate, can do, entrepreneurial and fun.

Job description

You are responsible for the P&L of the customer portfolio in France. You pro-actively seek opportunities to expand the business, both within the current customer portfolio as well as by acquiring new customers. You report to the Commercial Manager with a dotted line to the KAM for Belgium.  Since the Head Office is in The Netherlands, you get a lot of autonomy in making plans, of course within the strategy of AFP.

  • Experienced in Sales towards end users
  • Capable of determining who the most valuable customers are and focusing on those
  • Capable of communicating the added value of AFP to customers and prospects
  • Plans activities efficiently
  • Capable of closing deals which are acceptable for AFP as well as the customer
  • Sense of urgency
  • Monitoring results and build on them
  • French (native speaker), English: good
  • Proven sales experience in France
  • Has a demonstrable feeling, passion and technical understanding
